- Donkeys:
- Jenny - Female of any age

A mule is the result of a donkey stallion(Jack) mating with a female horse (mare). - John Mule - Castrated male of any age.
- Jack Mule - Intact male of any age.

Hinnys:
A hinny is the result of a horse stallion mating with a Jenny donkey. - Stallion Hinny - Intact male of 4 years of age or older.

- Buckling - Young male goat less than a year old.
- Billy - Male goat over 1 year of age.
